Rant: Waarom hebben wij geen Indie Games

Wij hebben in Nederland geen toegang tot de Indie Games op Xbox Live Market Place. Indie Games zijn games die zonder uitgever gemaakt zijn. Sommige games zijn het downloaden niet waard, maar andere zijn kleine juweeltjes. Ik mis deze optie echt in onze dashboard, want ik had bijvoorbeeld graag een sneeuwballen gevecht gehouden met een aantal vrienden. Die 240 Microsoft Points had ik dan ook blind besteed. Helaas kan het dus niet. Ik hoop dat wij in de toekomst snel deze optie krijgen, maar ik denk niet dat ik in de zomer sneeuwballen ga gooien. Jammer!

Aangezien er geen publishers bij betrokken zijn zou het toch juist geen of alvast minder proble(e)m(en) of legal hassle i.v.m. rechten mogen geven i.t.t. movie marketplace, Last.fm, etc. lijkt me.
Hopen dat we in de toekomst wel zoiets kunnen verwachten.

Hey Fardo, ik zie dat je het een en ander veranderd hebt. Mooi man! Om de zoveel tijd surf ik eens langs om wat artikelen te lezen en deze viel mij direct in het oog. Inderdaad erg jammer dat wij zelf niet de mogelijkheden hebben om een paar van de diamanten in wording te kunnen uitproberen, want wie kan er nu beter een game maken dan een gamer zelf. Ach misschien in de toekomst.

Helemaal mee eens.
De helft van de DLC lidejes van Rock Band is gemaakt op indie game software, dus niet beschikbaar in nederland.
Das zo'n 500 liedjes dus niet zomaar een paar kleine producties.

En wat dacht je van 1vs100, een hardstikke nederlands concept, maar vanwege indiegames niet speelbaar in nederland, schande!
